As your safety, health and environmental program manager we would perform an initial compliance survey and audit of your facility. In addition to the initial survey and audit we would perform the following inspections as they apply to your facility:
Annually- Facility compliance audit
- Lockout/tagout program (in use) evaluation
- Confined space entrance exercise evaluation
- Annual facility evacuation drills
Each facility visit
- Short facility audit
- Overhead hoists
- Hazardous waste drum storage areas
- Emergency lighting units
- Illuminated (lighted) exit signs
- First aid kits
- Emergency eyewash/shower stations
- Sprinkler system water pressure readings
The above list is not a complete listing of government-required inspections. There are many other government-required inspections that may need to be performed at your facility.
As your safety, health and environmental program manager, inspection requirements would be evaluated during the initial facility survey and audit.
Recommendations and a tentative schedule for performing inspections are included with the audit report.
