In order to determine the current status of safety, health and environmental practices and procedures as well as general workplace conditions, it is necessary to conduct a thorough survey and audit of all work areas, storage areas, processing areas, staging areas, administrative areas, etc…
The status of employee safety and health as it relates to the workplace as well as the discovery of any existing or potential hazards to employee safety and health are addressed in the survey/audit report.
For example:
- The physical plant itself is inspected for the existence of health, environmental and OSHA safety controls (e.g. ventilation, noise barriers, enclosed spaces, discharge points, etc.).
- Your facility will be surveyed to ascertain current compliance. All areas of OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910: et seq. will be addressed as well as other safety, health or environmental concerns that may be unique to your facility or operations.
- Records are obtained for review and copied (if necessary) to determine compliance with regulations and to assess your company’s health, safety and environmental status and history.
- Our report will identify locations, operations, equipment and employees involved in existing or potential hazards. The report will also provide a brief compliance recommendation for each item listed.
- This report is usually the initial part of a program service approach to determine your compliance needs. Regardless of whether you have a monthly, bimonthly or quarterly service plan this report is the cornerstone used to set compliance priorities and scheduling of services.
OR
This report can be used as a stand-alone tool for you to use for addressing hazards on your own.
Either way, by identifying and eliminating hazards, you can prevent serious accidents, which may result in injury and/or property and equipment damage from occurring. You may also prevent statutory fines or criminal liability by promptly abating hazardous conditions.
